Your Adventure Is Waiting At Sutton Knob
At Sutton Knob, guests and property owners will find a series of gently meandering hiking trails that allow our guests to easily tour the property and experience the beauty of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Whether hiking from the rental cottages along Cedardale Road to the pavilion and community park where the waterfall and two ponds await, or exploring the steeper hikes toward the crest of the ridge at Sutton Knob, visitors can rest assured that they’ll be able to enjoy the beauty of the Southern Appalachians as they meander through deciduous hardwood forests past the abundant streams, lakes and waterfalls found on the property. Currently around three miles of trails have been built at Sutton Knob ranging from easy walking paths that link peaceful sitting areas around the ponds and waterfalls at The Meadows to a more strenuous hike that takes adventure seekers down to the cascading waterfalls of Silver Creek.
