Explore Our Rental Cottages and Real Estate Offerings
Sutton Knob is home to three rental cottages with additional cottages currently under development, as well as additional home sites at The Summit at Sutton Knob. The rental cottages at Sutton Knob are a great way for visitors looking to explore Transylvania County and experience the mountain lifestyle thanks to the close proximity to one of the incredible outdoor opportunities that the nearby Pisgah National Forest has to offer or exploring the shops and cultural attractions found in Brevard and Transylvania County.
But the mountain experience doesn’t end once visitors and guests return to Sutton Knob, as one of the goals of the developers from the beginning was for Sutton Knob to be a vibrant destination for families and friends to gather and enjoy the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
The scenic hiking trails found at Sutton Knob offer visitors and guests a chance to fully immerse themselves in the outdoor experience of Transylvania County and enjoy the expansive views of the nearby Pisgah National Forest seen from multiple locations on the property. Additional attractions found in the nearly 40 acres of land set aside for parks and green space at Sutton Knob include two ponds, streams and small waterfalls located in beautiful hardwood forests in an area known as The Meadows.
Sutton Knob also features a centrally-located pavilion with community gathering areas that include a large fire pit with swings with hiking trails that connect peaceful sitting areas.
“The developers of Sutton Knob really want the development to be all about the outdoor adventure experience,” said Eric Crews, marketing director for Sutton Knob. “They really want the development to reflect the county that it sits in. For that reason, we want to have elements of everything that makes Transylvania County so special.”
Ultimately, the developers hope the rental cottages will provide all the amenities guests could hope for, while going above and beyond expectations when it comes to the various mountain views, outdoor attractions and family-oriented gathering areas found on the property.
While the amenities found within Sutton Knob are sure to keep visitors busy throughout their visit, the nearby Pisgah National Forest, DuPont State Forest and Gorges State Park offer guests of the Land of Waterfalls an extensive network of trails, waterfalls, scenic drives and outdoor adventures like few places in America.
Real Estate Broker Stephen “Billy” Harris of Portfolio Properties said he believes the area’s great location and proximity to Pisgah National Forest make it a great choice for new development in Transylvania County.
“Sutton Knob is ideally located to enjoy a wealth of recreational, cultural and educational opportunities, while the quiet setting offers the perfect place to relax and enjoy the outdoors,” Harris said. “Residents will enjoy private home sites with sweeping mountain views and easy access to the nearly 40 acres of greenspace and trails.”
